There are only two possible options regarding Creation according to the well respected evolutionist and scientist: Douglas Futuyma
"Creation and evolution, between them, exhaust the possible explanations for the origin of living things. Organisms either appeared on the earth fully developed or they did not. If they did not, they must have developed from pre-existing species by some process of modification. If they did appear in a fully developed state, they must have been created by some omnipotent intelligence."

It should be made clear that of these two possible explanations only one is permitted to be taught in non-religious Schools, Colleges and Universities.
The UK only seems to permit the Darwinian version of events to be heard; and not just in our educational establishments. This prohibition also applies to most media outlets. Evolution has become the authorised version of creation events. Mostly all we see and hear and read is the long age, millions of years, natural selection driven theory devised by Charles Darwin. It is as doctrinaire as many religions and its supporters tend to be offended by any criticism, however mild and reasoned.
It is sad to have to admit that much of the Christian Church has retreated from its core biblical truths due to the immense pressure being applied to conform to the current orthodoxy. When a well known evolutionist concedes that there is an alternative version, why would the Church choose to abandon both its position and its scriptures?
Why should we retreat when our scriptures remain unchanged? As does our God and the commission to preach the Gospel both in season and out. Compromise very rarely works, and it is certainly not a route chosen by those who brought us the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People who believed the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation.
We have a great and convincing story to tell, one that can accommodate every scientific fact and demonstrate that evolutionary theory is without any proven scientific foundation.
This great story is written for all to see and know and has been abandoned by most as an absurd and primitive version of history steeped in ancient superstition and myth. Just one hour of your time may cause you to think again and maybe even change your mind.
